Sampson "Sammy" Cacciatore is the Blue Mountain State Mascot. Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, he grew up with Starting Quarterback Alex Moran. Sammy managed to blackmail his way to become the Mascot, through threatening the former mascot, Chester, with informing everyone that he masturbated in the Trophy Room. He's constantly searching for girls and excuses to get drunk, with his drinking often leading him into misadventure. He lives in a closet at the Goat House with Thad and Alex. Sammy is often used by Thad to conduct favors and chores to keep his closet at the Goat House and thad often refers to sammy as "mascot" or houseboy". His name is presumed to have been taken from the Billy Joel song "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song) from the lyric "He works at Mister Cacciatore's down on Sullivan Street". He is from Wyoming yet in the episode "Superstition" while applying for a job at the CIA he presents a Pennsylvania drivers licence.
